The American and European Pharmacopoeias recommend to the industrial companies to realize quality control testing all along the manufacturing process of their biopharmaceutical products in order to secure their biological production (MCB, WCB, Bulk, MVSS...).

 

Clean Cells has developed different techniques that can detect the presence of contaminants:

 

1. General tests to detect viruses:

- Adventitious viruses detection on cell lines: detection of viruses with cytopathogenic, hemadsorbtion or  hemagglutination effect

- Retroviruses Detection by quantification of Reverse Transcriptase activity (Q-PERT)

- Virus detection by transmission electron microscopy (TEM)

 

1. Specific viruses detection by qPCR / RT-qPCR: viruses of human or animal origin
